Form\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 des Arts de Berlin (Allemagne), elle \u00e9tudie le piano avec le professeur Linde Gro\u00dfmann et la th\u00e9orie musicale avec le professeur Hartmut Fladt. Elle compl\u00e8te ses \u00e9tudes instrumentales par plusieurs master class li\u00e9s \u00e0 la musique de chambre, domaine de pr\u00e9dilection de la pianiste. Katja Steinh\u00e4user se produit dans des salles de concert c\u00e9l\u00e8bres en Allemagne et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger tels que le Kammermusiksaal de la Philharmonie de Berlin (Allemagne) et le Concertgebouw d\u2019Amsterdam (Pays-Bas).
\nLa pianiste s’int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l’interpr\u00e9tation de musiques de diff\u00e9rentes cultures. En 2007, elle fonde le trio Luz y Sombra<\/a>, qui reinterpr\u00e8te le r\u00e9pertoire du compositeur de tango Astor Piazzolla \u00e0 travers des nouveaux arrangements pour violon, clarinette et piano. Elle est \u00e9galement la pianiste du Duo Flores\/Steinh\u00e4user<\/a> aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du chanteur argentin Diego Valent\u00edn Flores, du groupe germano-isra\u00e9lien Trio Camino<\/a>, de l\u2019ensemble germano-hongrois Amicantio<\/a> et du Duo Aviv<\/a> aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la violoniste Miriam Erttmann. Depuis 2011, elle poursuit aussi sa passion pour le chant avec l\u2019Ensemble Polyvox<\/a>.
\nEn plus de ses activit\u00e9s de concert, Katja Steinh\u00e4user enseigne la th\u00e9orie musicale et l\u2019analyse de musique \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 des Arts de Berlin (Allemagne).
