Katja Steinh\u00e4user is a pianist, music theoretician and music pedagogue. She studied at the University of Arts in Berlin with Professor Linde Gro\u00dfmann (piano) and Professor Hartmut Fladt (music theory). Katja Steinh\u00e4user teaches music theory, analysis and aural training at the UdK Berlin (since 2010) and at the music school of Berlin-Neuk\u00f6lln (since 2011). She is also a private piano teacher.<\/h5>\n

As a pianist in numerous chamber music and orchestral projects, Katja Steinh\u00e4user has performed in well-known concert halls in Germany and abroad, such as the chamber music hall of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Spiegelzaal of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. In 2007, Katja Steinh\u00e4user founded the trio “Luz y Sombra<\/a>“, which exclusively dedicates itself to Tango Nuevo by the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, presenting it in their own arrangements for violin, clarinet and piano. Through this trio she met the Argentinian singer Diego Valent\u00edn Flores in 2017, with whom she has since performed regularly as “Duo Flores \/ Steinh\u00e4user<\/a>“. Katja Steinh\u00e4user is also the pianist of the Israeli-German ensemble “Trio Camino<\/a>“, the Hungarian-German ensemble “Amicantio<\/a>” and in the “Duo Aviv<\/a>” with the violinist Miriam Erttmann. Since 2011 she has been pursuing her passion for singing in the vocal group “Ensemble Polyvox<\/a>“.<\/h5>\n
